Welcome to my new blog and FUNdraising.

Welcome! This will be the new blog that I will be using during my time at CGA. The new address is JohnnyRussell.adventurescga.org with that being said I will no longer be posting blogs to my world race, however if you are subscribed to that blog you are automatically subscribed to this blog. Also, if you are interested in anything that I did on the World Race that blog is still active so always fill free to head over there and check it out at Johnnyrussell.theworldrace.org. 

As you probably already know I am required to fundraise in order to take part in CGA (the center for global action)  In order to be fully funded I need to raise $5,950 by the end of the program in July. However before I am able to begin I am in need of $2,000 by March 16th I have already been in the process of fundraising the old fashioned way by mailing out letters. However I am looking at other avenues at fundraising that are quicker. (it takes up to two weeks for checks that are mailed in to process)  To keep it simple I am starting a fundraiser called Adopt-A-box. It is a simple way to get everybody involved from those who can give a lot to those who can only give a little. (including kids) and it goes to show that every dollar truly counts. 

Each number represents the dollar amount in that box which means the max that anyone would be giving is $100. And yes even simply giving $1 makes a huge difference, you see if every single box is full I will be fully funded. By adopting a box you take the amount in the box you choose to adopt and then donate that amount through the donate link in my blog. for example the box that says 25 on it you would donate $25 to my account etc. 

 

I plan on having some fun with this and might even have a little helper so follow along with me through my instagram @THELove_Muscle as well as on Facebook!
